Here’s an Easy Way to Turn Your Articles into YouTube Videos to Increase Your Online Presence
If I can do it, so can you
You’re doing everything you can to produce great work.
You’re showing up, putting in the time, and doing the research.
Maybe you’re even shirking a few responsibilities to focus on your writing, even though guilt distracts you from time to time. But you push it aside, because getting your articles finished and posted is more important.
Sleepless nights are a given. You’re stressed out and worried that your stories aren’t good enough, or interesting enough, or relevant enough to catch anyone’s attention.
Still, you realize you can’t keep the horses in the corral too long. So you do a final spit-and-shine and open the gates to release your work into the world.
You follow up by posting everything on your blog and a half dozen social media sites.
You add urgent titles, hoping to stop readers in their tracks. You might even add a picture or two, even if it has nothing to do with the content of your piece.
Then you sit back and wait for the clicks and follows and likes and shares to rack up. Except they don’t.
The problem? Everything you’re doing so far has been static.
Why? It’s simple: Your articles don’t have the exciting elements of motion, sound, and evolving graphics.
Sure your posts are great, but it’s time to face the facts: Readers want to be totally and completely entertained. They’re looking for an immersive experience — one they can get lost in, if only for a minute or two.
If you’re like me, that unavoidable truth was a major stumbling block.
I didn’t have the knowledge or skills to even think about tackling this next-level product.
Having little (all right, no) background in video production and the complexities of syncing sound and vocals to a finished product kept me from exploring the possibilities of improving everything I wrote.
I pleaded to the universe to drop the answer into my lap.
And one day, my desperate call was heard.
I found Pictory.ai (affiliate link) — and everything changed. Now I’m producing my own YouTube videos like a pro.
Here are a few features of this easy-to-navigate product:
Converts text to video
An extensive library of stock photos and video clips
An eclectic audio library for background music
AI voice-to-text or add your own vocals
Create short highlight videos from long form content
Custom branding for your finished video product
Not sure you can do it?
I had the same doubts. After all, making a YouTube video seemed like a real challenge to me.
But I don’t give up easily …
Here’s the best part: Pictory offers a Free Trial so you can evaluate the options and produce a few of your own videos upfront.
I jumped onboard and I’m having the time of my life bringing my articles and stories to life.
This is one of my stories, transformed into a YouTube video:
Here’s the bottom line:
If you want to appeal to a larger audience and give them the sensory input they crave, consider scaling your work with video.
